Assembly and install guides for the Faro-Dock in the 2027+ Kia Telluride. No tools needed.
Dual Station
Please read the printable guide before you start. It walks through every step with drawings: assembling the dock, clipping it into the charging tray, and two final checks.

Single Station
The Single goes together and installs the same way as the Dual, with two supports, one cable and one side of the tray. Pick the left or right side and remove only that rubber mat. Please read the printable guide before you start.

Before you press it in
- Use a charging port. The Telluride has three USB-C ports above the tray. Plug into the ones marked with a small lightning bolt. The other port won’t give enough power.
- Rear first. With FRONT toward the driver, engage the rear hooks, center the dock, then press the front down until it clicks.
- Phone not lining up with the charger? The charging plate has four height positions: A1, A2, B1 and B2. Most phones fit A2. The guide shows how to change it.
Troubleshooting
Do the two final checks after every install. Most problems come down to one of them.
Final check 1 (step 7): Is your phone touching the dash or console?
Put your phone on the charger and look at the two red zones. The phone and its case must not touch the dash at the top or the console at the bottom. If they touch, the magnet can’t pull the phone flat and it won’t stay on.
- Hitting at the top? Move the charging plate to a lower position.
- Hitting at the bottom? Move it to a higher position.
- You can also turn the plate around (A and B ends). See the guide, assembly step 4, for the four positions.
Final check 2 (step 8): Is the dock locked in?
- The rubber mat (or both mats, for the Dual) is out of the tray (see install step 1).
- The dock doesn’t move. It shouldn’t slide side to side or front to back, or wobble. If it moves, the front clips haven’t clicked down. Engage the rear hooks (see install step 3), center the dock and press the front down again (see install step 4).
- No broken clips. A clip that broke during install won’t lock in. Contact us for a replacement part.
- Every clip is fully in slot 1 or slot 2, never between them (see assembly steps 2 and 3).
Once pressed together, the charging plate and supports should be hard to pull apart. If they come apart easily, a clip isn’t seated.
My phone won’t stay on the magnet
Test it out of the car. Unclip the charging plate, set it on a table and put your phone on the charger.
Sticks on the table but not in the car? Something in the console is in the way. Do final check 1 (step 7) and change the plate height or turn it around (see assembly step 4).
Won’t stick even on the table? The magnet sits about 1/8 in above the plate, which leaves room for the camera bump on the back of the phone. Make sure the camera bump or case isn’t touching the plate.
The dock moves or wobbles
Check the mat is out of the tray (see install step 1), the rear hooks are engaged (see install step 3) and the front clips have clicked down (see install step 4). Once installed, the dock should not move at all. Also look for a broken clip: if one broke during install, it won’t lock in. Contact us for a replacement part.
The charging plate or a support comes apart
A clip is probably sitting between slots 1 and 2 (see assembly steps 2 and 3). Press it fully into one slot. Pressed together, the parts should be hard to separate.
My phone isn’t charging
Make sure the cable is in a USB-C port marked with a small lightning bolt (see install step 2). The other port won’t give enough power.
Does my phone or case work?
Phones need Qi2 or MagSafe magnets, built in or through a slim magnetic case. Very thick cases may not fit. Check your phone.
